10,000 Syrian Refugees Are Landing In America And There Is Something Very Odd About Them

Despite the terrorist attacks in Paris, France, the Obama Administration is still on track to admit 10,000 new Syrian refugees into the United States.

The president announced his plan in September during a press briefing with White House press secretary, Josh Earnest. Earnest explained that the president had already brought in almost two thousand ‘displaced Syrians,’ yet they plan to bring in ten thousand more over the course of a year.

Yet there is something odd about the refugees that they are bringing in. The Syrian refugees seem to be mostly composed of males between the ages of eighteen and thirty. This is a far different picture than what the drive by media has been painting of a large number of women and children who are fleeing Syria because of the increase in violence in the country.

More bizarre than that is the fact that President Obama is not backing down from his plan of bringing in thousands of Syrian refugees despite the fact that several of the terrorists from Paris allegedly entered the country under the umbrella of refugee status.

The concern for America is that, along with the legitimate refugees that Obama plans to bring in, ISIS members will also use the program to enter the country. Syria has become a breeding ground for the ISIS.

Last month, FBI Director James Comey told the House Homeland Security Committee that the United States Government cannot possibly screen ten thousand Syrian refugees for terrorist ties. He explained, in detail, that the vetting process only involves matching the potential refugees with what we already know about them. Because the country is in such disarray, there is not an available database with which to conduct the necessary background checks.

Because of this, Barack Obama will be bringing in ten thousand Syrian refugees who are mostly males between the ages of eighteen and thirty without first knowing who they are.

Senator Marco Rubio hit the nail on the head when he said,

“You can have 1,000 people come in, and 999 of them are just poor people fleeing oppression and violence, but one of them is an ISIS fighter. If that’s the case, you have a problem, and there is no way to vet that out.”

Though it is not probable that all 10,000 refugees have terrorist ties, it is still important to remember that it only took seventeen terrorists to bring down the World Trade Center and end the lives of thousands of Americans.
