Rutgers University Professor Declares : All White People Must Consider Themselves As The Face Of The Oppressor

Doctor Brittney Cooper, co- founder of the Crunk Feminist Collective blog, and an Assistant Professor of Women’s and Gender Studies and Africana Studies at Rutgers University in New Jersey, has made some startling and, quite frankly, racist comments in a Salon opinion piece.

Her topic was the treatment of members of the black community at the hands of “mostly white” police officers.

The story is a popular story among the race-baiters of the country, who come out of the woodwork, again and again, whenever they catch the scent of a possibility that a black person was mistreated at the hands of the police.

They were there to scream injustice when Trayvon Martin was shot by George Zimmerman, ignoring the facts in the case that included Trayvon Martin’s girlfriend Rachel Jeantel’s statements about the case.

When Jeantel appeared on CNN’s Piers Morgan, she was explaining how Trayvon Martin wasn’t trying to kill George Zimmerman. Instead, she insisted, he was just, as she put it, whooping George Zimmerman’s ass. She said,

“…Oh, he would just bash, or was kill. When somebody bash somebody like blood people trust me in the area I live, that’s not bashing. That’s just called ‘whoop-ass.’ You just got your ass whoop[ed]. That’s what it is.”

But the activists do not allow the facts to get into the way. They did not care that the evidence showed that George Zimmerman was defending himself during the attack, or even that he wasn’t white. He was Hispanic, and the activists immediately changed that title to “White- Hispanic” to fit their narrative.

The activists came out again when Michael Brown was shot and killed in Ferguson Missouri. Brown was captured on video manhandling a clerk and robbing a convenience store just minutes before a confrontation with the police that ended with his death.

Barack Obama’s official Race Ambassador to the White House, Al Sharpton, has defended Michael Brown’s actions by drawing a distinction between a robbery and shoplifting.

“Robbery, you break in, stick something up. Shoplifting, you take some cigars. It’s wrong if he did it, but call it what it is.”

Even though the evidence indicated that the wounds he sustained were consistent with wounds that someone who is charging at the shooter would have, as opposed to kneeling with his hands up and back turned, the activists did their very best to portray Michael Brown as the “Gentle Giant.”

They ignored the fact that the only eyewitness to say that Brown was kneeling with his hands up and back turned was his accomplice in the convenience store robbery, and that a grand jury had found him to be non-credible witness.

All other eyewitnesses and forensic evidence back up Officer Darren Wilson’s story that Brown had tried reaching into the police cruiser to steal the gun, it went off during the scuffle, hitting Brown’s hand, and he ran away.

Officer Wilson gave chaise, and at one point, Brown turned and charged at Officer Wilson. The officer had to make a split second decision whether or not to pull the trigger.

Anti-police activists have gone so far as to erect a statue of Michael Brown erected as a memorial. Apparently, Ferguson wishes to honor criminals who rob, threaten, and assault innocent people rather than the heroes in blue who protect the rest of society from them. The surveillance video of the “Gentle Giant,” can be seen below:

The activists also emerged again in the case of Sandra Bland, screaming that her death is a direct result of racism, and spreading lies to make it seem as though every black person should fear the police.

According to a report from the Guardian, a rapper out of Chicago, Lil Bibby, has helped spread the rumor that Sandra Bland was dead before she entered the police station. He claimed to have video evidence that showed the police officer in question dragging a lifeless body across a parking lot to the police station. That video was shown to be inaccurate as it was dated 2013, and contained an event in Florida, not Texas.

There were claims that the mug shot taken by police was taken after Bland was deceased. This is inconsistent with the evidence of surveillance footage that authorities in Waller County released, showing Bland in the station and walking around during the processing. The activists, however do not let facts get in the way of their narrative, and press on.

Getting back to Assistant Professor Dr. Brittney Cooper of Rutgers University, she has joined the growing ranks of people that identify the police officers, that have protected our streets and children of every race, sex, and religion over the years, as the bad guys.

She made the insinuation that to be apprehended by authorities, could lead to your death if you are black. In a piece she wrote for Salon, she said,

“Black people, of every station, live everyday just one police encounter from the grave. Looking back over my encounters with police, it’s truly a wonder that I’m still in the land of the living.”

She has also taken that step even further to become a full blown racist and labeling all white people as oppressors.

“White people must begin to see themselves in the faces of the mostly white police officers who keep committing these atrocities against Black and Brown people. This will not stop until you recognize that you are them. These officers are your brothers and sisters… You are them. And they are you.”

This type of mass labeling of characteristics based on their race, otherwise known as racism, is something that could be expected of the former leader of the New Black Panther Party, King Samir Shabazz, who claimed that freedom would only be obtained from killing white babies.

It could also be something that would be expected from Obama’s former Attorney General, Eric Holder, who called the United States a nation of cowards when it came to race relations. He said,

“Though this nation has proudly thought of itself as a[n] ethnic melting pot, in things racial we have always been and we, I believe continue to be, in too many ways, essentially a nation of cowards.”

This mindset could also be something shared with Barack Obama himself, who identified his grandmother as a “typical white person,” and has judged authorities negatively, on multiple occasions, even before all of the facts were released.

However, it is truly bizarre that Brittney Cooper is a person that Rutgers University has employed to teach its students, and many are wondering if they will be changing her status of employment at the university after learning that she has openly come out as a racist.
