U.S. Marine Writes Open Letter To Michelle Obama Taking Her To Task For Dividing The Country

Marine Criticizes Michelle

Nobody has ever accused the Michelle Obama of being too patriotic. She has not gotten a reputation as a great uniter from the country that her husband is the head of. In fact, she is often criticized as having disdain for the country, at least those in the country that don’t have the same skin tone as her.

One military vet has taken exception to her divisive behavior, and was not shy about calling her out. In an open letter addressed to the First Lady, United States Marine Mike Shepard said,

“I am a Marine who doesn’t recognize color because every color has lived and died for you. You live in a free country to blame your poor pathetic life on the color of another man’s skin.”

First Lady Michelle Obama’ spotlight on racial divisiveness began with her college thesis entitled Princeton- Educated Blacks and the Black Community. She said,

“Regardless of the circumstances under which I interact with Whites at Princeton, it often seems as if, to them, I will always be Black first and a student second.”

Michelle has had a grudge against this country that was visible during her husband’s first campaign. In his letter, Shepard pointed out that during a speech, Michelle explained that, because her husband had the potential to be president, for the first time in her adult lifetime, she was proud of her country. Apparently, attending an ivy league school was not something to be proud of. Nor was having a more than $300,000 per year career as an executive director at the University of Chicago Medical Center.

Shepard criticized the Obamas for becoming millionaires off of the backs of the people within the country, and yet do not exhibit appreciation for all that they have.

Harnessing the words of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr, the Marine stated that he did not like the First Lady, not because of the color of her skin, but because of the content of her character.

Shepard finished his letter with a powerful statement,

“You will never be remembered as the First Lady of Color, but soon forgotten after you leave the White House. You nor your husband shall ever divide us. I wish you no harm, but pray you will get the hell off of this American land.”

Aside from serving for almost a decade in the Marines, Mike Shepard has become an outspoken critic of the administration and currently writes for the DC Gazette.
