[VIDEO] David Spade Hammers The President Over Pop Culture Appearances

Comedian and actor David Spade was asked about his thoughts on President Barack Obama’s appearance on the recent episode of Running Wild with Bear Grylls. The reality show demonstrates survival skills and host Bear Grylls brings celebrities with him to appear on every episode. David Spade’s thoughts were less than flattering of the seemingly attention hungry president.

“I criticize Obama because, you know, a president should have a little more dignity than that. I realize that Woodrow Wilson went on Dancing with the Stars once, but what president is doing a reality show? It sounds weird to me, and it’s just too much. I think that Michelle Obama’s on Ellen more than I am… It’s just a new world, I’m not used to it. It seems a bit thirsty.”

Other guests that have appeared on the reality show include Channing Tatum, Michael Jordan, Tom Arnold, Ben Stiller, Kate Winslet, and Ed Helms. Spade was less than impressed with the president adding his name to the list of actors, actresses, and sports stars who made appearances on the show.

“The president, you’re above all of us. You’re above stars, you’re above everything. He’s trying to get the next, like, ‘I want to present at the MTV Awards.'”

Other shows that the president of the United States has appeared on include Between Two Ferns with Zack Galifinakas, a comedy show on Cartoon Network where he pushed his agenda of Obamacare and The Late Show with Jimmy Falon, a late night comedy talk show where the president ‘slow jammed the news’ to criticized the interest rates of student college loans.

First Lady Michelle has used appearances on talk shows to push her agendas as well. Though she was not elected to any office by the American people, she took it upon herself to issue a Let’s Move campaign to fight childhood obesity. She appeared on Ellen to promote her agenda and to break dance.

From using the White House as their personal concert venue, to their multiple agenda pushing appearances on TV shows, watched mostly by low information viewers who don’t follow politics, to the president’s multiple decisions to go golfing after terrorists execute soldiers and journalists, the fist-bumping President and First Lady are demonstrating that what they lack in class and dignity, they more than make up for in their thirst for attention. The Obama administration’s corruption and dishonesty towards the American people have been overshadowed by the Obamas’ tackyness.

David Spade’s comments to TMZ came after the comedian Tweeted

Why is Obama on Bear Grills trying to survive in the tundra? Isn’t the idea to keep the prez alive? And why is he on a reality show? Wtf?
